Authentic, views, kind service, great BBQ. Affordable. Next time I'll try their paella which is served unti 14:00 on Sat & Sundays. Had taco de loma, pil pil, BBQ mix for two. We were 2 adults + teenagers. Remember to take cash, no card payments. A place to visit during your stay. Walkable grom Los Pacos but some uphill on the way there. Taxi, by car or scooter the easiest.

This is truly a special find. We have been coming here for over 2 years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. From the views to the food, the atmosphere to the music at the weekends…everything is perfect and very Spanish, but the owner and staff are what make the restaurant our happy place. Such lovely people who take great care of you and are always friendly and happy.

Great place when in need for a break whilst hiking in the mountains.. Had a large beer in the garden and even at a very affordable price.. See you soon again..

Got there just as the kitchen was closing on a Sunday afternoon and they made a cheese and jamón plate for us. Lovely dogs. Opening hours keep changing by season (and half season etc). Great atmosphere.

La Retama is pure magic immersed in the idle scenery of an Andalusian campo - Their panoramic views and wholesome from-farm-to-table meals make this place an absolute gem. The owner is truly the kindest and most professional. Her hospitality and warmth exceed all expectations, every single time. 100% recommended ❤ P.S Don't miss their monthly live entertainment and concerts!

A restaurant almost like a hideout! In the middle of Mijas countryside, is this beautiful, relaxed, oasis if tranquility and peace, with good traditional andalucian food and drinks!
I just love this small little bar / restaurant in the Mijas countryside. Lovely owners and beautiful views, great prices and authentic settings
